Since the 14th century until the early 20th century, the Vienna Boys’ Choir sang exclusively for the imperial court in Vienna. In 1918 they became a private institution and to support the boys upkeep, they began to give public concerts. The choir, composed of boys between the ages of 10 and 14, will perform favorite Strauss waltzes, classical masterpieces by Mozart and Haydn, as well as folk songs.
