‘Witness the birth of a nation told through rhythm and beat, with the cry of the Vikings as they were brought to defeat, the rise and fall of the rebellion the show tells the tale, trapped were the Irish, watch them dance from the jail. For the nation fought free from Dundalk to Tralee, they sing and they dance through the night full of glee. For Ireland, there was, not a nation quite like her, hold on to your seat, feel Ireland’s passion and fire.'
’A Taste of Ireland’ is a show with 100% live singing and dancing that bridges the gap between storytelling, modern Irish dance, tap and contemporary dance to tell a historic story, live on stage.
Tina Naponelli has captured the true essence of Carole King and brings to you a unique and unforgettable tribute experience. Tina’s powerful voice and soulful dedication pay homage to the iconic Queen of Pop.
Together, with her bold 5-piece band, they create impressive renditions of “Feel the Earth Move”, ”Chains”, and “You’ve Got a Friend”, from Carole King’s “Tapestry” album, as well as other favorites.
The show takes place at an ugly sweater party, where all the guests are joyful singers, incredible tap dancers, and high-energy musicians! The interactive fun takes off on a jolly sleigh ride of swingin’ holiday mash-ups. The party gets extra exciting when Santa Claus starts rapping to Rudolph over horn-band funk while Frosty the Snowman tap dances a groove beat, and all of the other reindeer hit powerhouse hip-hop choreography -- a magical combination you have to see to believe! Just when it can’t get any more fantastic, the party comes to a hilarious halt when two singers-turned-investigators steal the show with a beatboxing version of “The Grinch!” Ultimately, the partygoers, the investigators, the audience members, and even the HUMBUG are all united in an electric, high-energy closer called “The Holiday Funk.”
