About Leach Theatre

Leach Theatre is located in Rolla, Missouri, inside Castleman Hall on the campus of Missouri University of Science and Technology. Leach Theatre hosts an average of 100 events per academic year. Recent events have included diverse musical performances ranging from the Glenn Miller Orchestra to American Idol winner David Cook, energetic dance and movement troupes such as the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet and the Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats, dramatic presentations from renowned groups including Aquila Theatre, Barter Theatre, and the Reduced Shakespeare Company, Musical Theatre favorites "Cats", "Bye-Bye Birdie,"  "Jesus Christ, Superstar" and "Evita", as well as engaging speakers and spoken word artists like  popular radio personality Garrison Keillor. The Missouri S&T Arts, Languages, & Philosophy music and theatre programs bring numerous student music and theatrical performances to Leach Theatre, the Black Box theatre, as well as other local venues throughout the year.
